about

María Serralvo (1998) graduated in Audiovisual Communication at the UAB and completed her studies at the University of California, Berkeley. There she directed her first short film, What We All Lack. Since then, she has cultivated a strong interest in feminist film theory and experimental film as tools to reflect on issues such as gender, bodies, memory, the passage of time and identity. She has recently been awarded the La Caixa Foundation Fellowship for Postgraduate Studies Abroad and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in film studies at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
